This post will show you how to find and join an existing Microsoft Teams team.
To join a team, simply click on the Teams icon and then on the “Join or create team icon”. Then simply click on the team you wish to join.
In Microsoft Teams, a group of people is called a Team. There are many teams and anyone with sufficient privileges can create a new team. A team can be private or public. Anyone can join a public team. To join a private team, you need a code to join the team.
To see a list of teams, click on the Teams icon followed by the “Join or create team” icon.
You should now see a list of teams. To join a public team, simply click on the team. To join a private team, click on the tile as shown below
Then type in the code the team owner provided to you. You cannot join a private group without this code.
