How to rotate video

This post shows how to rotate a video using VLC player. VLC player is a free software that be downloaded from https://www.videolan.org/.

To rotate video:

1. download and install VLC player
2. Open your video file
3. Tools > Effects and Filters > Video Effects > Geometry
4. Choose the transform option and click on save

Download and Install VLC Player:

Go to https://www.videolan.org/ and download the latest stable version. Then follow the instructions.

Open your video file

Double-click on the video file

or

1. Open VLC Player from search.
2. click on Media > Open File.
3. Browse to the video file
4. click on Open.

Go to Geometry

Go to Tools > Effects and Filters

This will open the “Adjustments and Effects” window. Click on the “Video Effects” tab and then the “Geometry” tab. Under the “Transform” section, choose the operation you wan to perform like Rotate 90 degrees.

You can also choose a custom angle under the “Rotate” section.

While you are making the changes, you will see it reflected on you video. When you are satisfied, click on Save.
